there was a bat inside jana and jasons house...and me and jana were too scared to try to catch it so me and jana basically were just there for support and to cheer for jenn to get that stupid bat!...(bat...i hope your okay!!!) hahaha*

Bat 2006 Part 2

so i came home tonight from applebees for krose07's birthday (aka Kristen Rose) and bruce was running around like crazy. he looked scared....but i didn't think anything of it so i kept on looking for a DVD that i was getting for Jen (randy's woman). as i proceed to look for the DVD jen yells, "Jana! There's a bat in your house!" so i look up and sure enough there is a bat flying around my living room. now this is the second time that there has been a bat in my apartment. i don't like this. it freaks/grosses me out. i don't know how they are getting in my house but i don't like it. so i go and get jen a broom and she proceeds to swat at it. she has horrible aim...but i wasn't complaining because i was too scared to get it. so she proceeds to swat and she swats the lamp and it goes out. so great....we have no power. so i go into the "junk drawer" and get flashlights and we proceed to bat chase in the dark with flashlights.

meanwhile...kristin rose is in the car because i was taking her home and she runs up to the house because all of a sudden she sees darkness with a broom and she hears screaming. she thought someone was trying to kill us...and she comes prepared with her purse. i guess she was going to beat them to death.

anyways...the three of us (well mostly jen) try to get the bat and we finally stun it enough to get it into a tupperware container and then we take outside and jen sets it free back into the wild.

hahah!!!!!!!!!!

 FINALLY HOME!

and heading out tomorrow to go white water rafting with jason, jana, whitney,sarah, soul train, phil, randy, and levi!! YAY!!

but...

I had a great time this summer! Maryland was amazing! I met so many awesome people and made some great memories!=) The beach was alot of fun also! Here's some pics!

wow! i had such an amazing weekend! first of all yesterday was awesome because i ended up not having to work which is always good. i got to go to a derek webb concert last night in virginia also!! whoa! it was amazing! i absolutely had a great time! and...if you have never heard of derek webb you definitely need to look him up and download the song "wedding dress" because it is officially my verry favorite song now...and its christian. and he def sang that song last night and it sounded wonderful...just like it sounds recorded....and to TOP IT ALL OFF....i got to meet him after!! ahhh! hes a cutie! too bad hes married. but i told him to come to kentucky and i found out hes in lexington and louisville all the time soo id def looove to catch a show sometime!

and...today! probably the best time ive had in a lonng time...i got to go to washington d.c.! it was my first time there and it was awesome! i got to ride on a subway for the first time...then we went and saw the washington monument, and the vietnam memorial and the world war II memorial and also the korean one...we saw ABE LINCOLN, and the WHITE HOUSE! and the capital buiding and then we went to the smithsonians and i got to see judy garlands shoes from the wizard of oz and i got to see the REAL HOPE DIAMOND....i found out that the one kate winslet wore in titanic wasnt the real one...dont relly know why i thought she got to wear that...but oh well....but anyway, it was SOO much fun!! i didnt get to go to the holocaust muesum which i really wanted to see but i think that randy and i are gonna go see it this weekend!

this was the first week of camp which was alot of fun....only 3 more weeks total for me to be gone...cant wait! beach in 2 weeks! then i come home and can actually hang out with my friends!!=)

i leave for creation wednesday with my friend danielle..im super pumped because there are gonna be sooo many huge christian artists there!!! yay!

well...i think this is about enough...danielle and i are gonna go paint our nails!
